GoalsTo help affect better government and democracy that more clearly and timely reflects the needs and will of Americans through the power of the majority citizenry and vote. Ensure the creation of America's most powerful citizen's lobbying and voting union - WE THE PEOPLE - for the purposes of improving aspects for the "common good" of all Americans. Objectives1) Secure 30 million Card Carrying members by 2010 and transform the PUA into a public agency (National Referendum System) by 2015. 2) Promote PUA membership supported policies, initiatives, bills and related aspects toward the building of better government and leadership. 3) Hold the US leadership accountable at all times to the fullest extent as may be possible. 4) Work with PUA Affiliates toward a unified front on key issues for the "common good" of America in order to consolidate voters into large enough pools that ensure strong results from government--and give good ideas, no matter where they come from, a solid chance in the marketplace of voters. 5) Work on behalf of the American people, with key focus on ensuring a secure, stable, healthy, and prosperous middleclass to which the low income class aspires, and from which middleclass citizen may more easily be promoted to the wealthier classes using a strictly nonpartisan, "common good" approach (as opposed to a partisan or special interests or big business approach that often fails to embrace the needs of the "common good" or average citizen). 6) To foster through technology, better and more progressive forms of democracy that places more power into the hands of the individual and their collective voice and vote in order to ensure our democratic republic country remains reflective of the people's will. 7) To help ensure a well educated and informed citizenry better able to think, promote, and act as responsible citizens who not only value America's Constitution and democratic principles, but respect and protect them along with the earned privilege-turned-right to vote. 8) To listen, at all times, to the majority of US citizens who support the PUA and to reflect in our policy and principles of their collective will and direction by which the PUA shall be fostered and driven. 9) To support, in all ways, the building, maintaining, and security of the American family unit and to protect the future of Generation 10 (each generation has a duty to look 10 generations ahead before taking action or making a decision today that may ill-affect Generation 10). 10) To promote educated patriotism and to uphold, to the best of our ability, the laws and principles set forth by our Founding Fathers, even when in conflict with current political tides or processes; to ensure better public education and understanding of the key issues toward formulation of robust opinion-making, debate, and dialogues necessary to a healthy democracy, union, and citizenship. 11) To promote, at all opportunities, the fostering of responsible citizenship, participation in the political process, and educated patriotism. 12) In this order: A) To foster and maintain an "America first" ideology that seeks to keep secure, prosperous, and healthy all Americans; B) To promote stewardship of the Earth and protect its natural resources that future generations might inherent them; C) To promote America's world stewardship and industries in the marketplace of needs, goods, services, and expertise toward improving both America and the world as a whole. |
