PUA PlatformCurrently, the PUA staff, with cooperation from our sister organization (US policy advisor and think tank Patriot Society) are founding the basic principles that guide our policies and platform. Generally, we seek to advance the Constitution and "common good" issues and solutions on behalf of all Americans. In the near future, Americans themselves will be determining the PUA's national platform and approach through majority polling, survey and vote action via the PUA's interactive Web site. We currently think of ourselves as "constitutionalists, innovative conservatives, and progressive populists" if you insist on labeling the PUA. The bottom-line, is we believe that what is best for the majority of Americans, is best for America. Our approach is one of looking at most issues through the eyes and needs of the middleclass worker, knowing that if they ensure this group remains healthy and vibrant, America will remain health and vibrant. Our overriding conviction is that Americans should take steps to ensure that America sets the example of being the world's best progressive democracy and bastion of humanitarianism with sound economic security and principles that balance the needs of business with the needs of citizens in order to set a benchmark for other nations to follow - that we must ensure our house is in good order as an example before pressing our position onto others - for only a strong America is able to ensure significant and world-changing help to other nations, humanities, governments, and environments. |
