Hispanic Americans Vs Illegal Aliens - PUA Explains Position Against Illegal Foreign Latinos While Still Supporting All Americans, Including US-Hispanic Citizens

December 8, 2006

It is important to understand that the Patriot Union of America supports all US citizens as a collective. Sometimes it appears as though the PUA is being biased against Hispanic US Citizens--we are not.

The PUA respects all ethnic backgrounds and considers all US citizens as equals--period!

US citizen Hispanics are not to be confused with foreign or illegal aliens or foreigner or illegal Latinos (note: we use the word Hispanic to denote a US citizen of Hispanic roots or culture and the word Latino is generally used to describe foreigners who are not US citizens or in the legal process of becoming one--see Dictionary for more details).

It is important that we make this distinction clear. The PUA views all foreigners, whether on or off US soil, as having distinctly different rights and/or entitlements to that of US citizens.

All humans are entitled to humane treatment to ensure their health and safety but they are not entitled to enter or remain on US soil uninvited or illegally. The PUA views those who enter the US illegally as criminals, regardless of what country they come from, as this is the proper legal definition under the law (hence the word "illegal alien" meaning "illegal foreigners" or "criminal foreigner."

The PUA does not confuse US Hispanics in any way with foreign Latinos or illegal aliens--we see them a clearly two distinct classes.

Regardless of a person's country of origin, the PUA respects all US citizens and legal immigrants who seek to assimilate into the US culture, who make English their primary language, who embrace the United States as their permanent home, and who maintain the view of 100% allegiance to the US as a sovereign nation, forsaking their origin country in all things political or national. We hold in high regard all those who teach these values to their children and within their communities.

The PUA does not support any ideology that promotes the balkanization of America or that promote law breaking, such as that of attempting to offer "amnesty" to those who cross our borders illegally or who remain in the US illegal--particularly given the fact that such groups strip our scarce resources away from Americans and particularly our minorities.

More than ever, the PUA urges US Hispanics to stand up against special interests and those who criminally trespass our borders and steal resources and jobs away from US citizens--America first, America always!
