PUA Position StatementNote: Currently, Position Statements have been drafted by the PUA Staff as an initial starting point. However, in the future, PUA Position Statements will be created with the direct input of the majority of PUA Card Carrying Members (public voters) and it will reflect the majority opinion. Therefore, your input as a PUA Member can change, often dramatically, the PUA Position Statements in the near and distant future so if you do not see your ideal opinion reflected here, remember, you can work to change it--the PUA is ruled by majority vote. Statement not formulated yet. Briefly: America is not ready - not by a long shot! We are very vulnerable right now and the best thing you can do is get as prepared as you can at home for some of the most common disasters and not so common disasters that may be headed our way, such as terrorism and rioting. The PUA recommends that all Americans prepare themselves to live without food or electricity or water for at least one month and to have at least one firearm in the home for safety and protection from potential looters, thugs, and rioters who may pose a threat to you and your family should times become desperate (remember Katrina and the looting and the criminals with guns in the streets and no police or army to be found?). This is just one of the reasons why the PUA work to help protect your Second Amendment Rights--you must be able to keep your family safe when the government can not or will not. (We have learned from the illegal immigration crisis one very important lesson---the federal government and state government selectively enforce laws while ignoring others and the rights of US citizens, so they can not always be counted on to have your family's best interest at heart---or the safety of your children and other family members---so get prepared and stay prepared. And hope you will never need those resources (but if you do, you will be glad you prepared in advance).
