PUA Position Statement

Note: Currently, Position Statements have been drafted by the PUA Staff as an initial starting point. However, in the future, PUA Position Statements will be created with the direct input of the majority of PUA Card Carrying Members (public voters) and it will reflect the majority opinion. Therefore, your input as a PUA Member can change, often dramatically, the PUA Position Statements in the near and distant future so if you do not see your ideal opinion reflected here, remember, you can work to change it--the PUA is ruled by majority vote.

Briefly: the USA is one of the lowest healthcare providers to its general population when compared to most First World nations; about half of all US citizens have no healthcare insurance and of the half that do, less than 15 percent are adequately insured for catastrophic care. And yet spending on healthcare per person i the US is the highest per all First World nations, which translates to a very uneconomical and inhumane system.

Did you know we are working on one of the most exciting healthcare innovations ever devised!

We believe we have found a way to transform our entire healthcare system and not only ensure that Americans pay much less than they do now, but that all Americans will be covered and all those who work in the medical profession, whether nurses or doctors or technicians, etc. will not only like our new system, but will love it! 

Imagine doctors being able to do whatever they need to protect the health of their patients. Our system takes the best of several existing models and combines them with a unique pay system to create one of the best innovations ever devised for a modern era country. 

The plan will be released next year as we continue work on it in preparation for the unveiling but for now, know that we are doing some very important work and that your donations and memberships help support it.
