PUA Position StatementNote: Currently, Position Statements have been drafted by the PUA Staff as an initial starting point. However, in the future, PUA Position Statements will be created with the direct input of the majority of PUA Card Carrying Members (public voters) and it will reflect the majority opinion. Therefore, your input as a PUA Member can change, often dramatically, the PUA Position Statements in the near and distant future so if you do not see your ideal opinion reflected here, remember, you can work to change it--the PUA is ruled by majority vote. It is important to the PUA that Americans understand that we support all legal immigrates and their families, regardless of our stance on the issue of immigration. However, when it comes to the issue of illegal immigration, we see a clear distinction that many others refuse to recognize: Illegal Immigration We believe illegal immigration is: 1) A violation of our laws and a criminal act. 2) A disrespect and affront on all law abiding Americans and those who await legal immigration without the need to violate our laws or cut to the front of the line. 3) Not a right or an entitlement for foreigners. 4) Should NOT allow access to taxpayer paid services of any kind (except for life and death emergency medical care). 5) Should be harshly dealt with to ensure sound government and civility and to act as deterrent from future similar crimes. 6) Should be harshly dealt with to ensure the best work or wage opportunities are first made available to US citizens. 7) Should be harshly dealt with for those who endanger the lives of children in crossing seas or borders illegally (an issue of child abuse, neglect, and endangerment which is not being addressed). 8) Should be severely frowned upon in any legitimate or legal immigrant community, as well all communities that value living in a civilized society. 9) Should be abated through the removal of the illegal alien from US soil at the first possible moment and by whatever means necessary to ensure the integrity of our laws and to send a clear message to the world that illegal behavior or illegal trespass onto US soil will not be tolerated. 10) Should have such a sound and harsh and working enforcement system that potential terrorists can not remain on US soil effectively of their own volition, or remain undetected from law enforcement. 11) Remedies should NOT affect the rights, needs, respect, or life aspects of legal immigrants and US citizens. 12) Should NOT be an issue confused with that of legal immigration for the purposes of policy making or legislation or grass roots discussion or legitimate journalism work. 13) Should NOT punish or reward children who have been pawns and victims of their parent's criminal behavior. 14) Should, as with all laws and their respective punishments, no be concerned with the issue of family break-up for those who knowingly violated our laws (for how many criminals would prefer to avoid prison for robbing a bank by making the claim that such prison time would break up their family?). 15) Should have any and all steps taken to reduce cost impacts to American taxpayers regarding this issue.
Overpopulation Due to the fact that overpopulation has become a significant threat to America (and around the world) and its environments, and is overly straining scarce resources like fresh water, as well as the impacts of illegal immigration that has become a de facto form of immigration and anarchy, the PUA believes that all immigration should be halted at once and moratorium instituted. We need to find, identify, and remove those who are on US soil illegally, secure our borders, ports, and waterways and shores, and control ingress and egress of foreigners into the US (including tracking) for the purposes of anti-terrorism and US national security, as well as controlling immigration. Once this has been achieved, we need to reexamine legal immigration with a cold hard look at its impact on American workers and jobs and then decide the optimum levels for future immigration and by what criteria we should select all future immigrants (not by family relations, but by what they bring to America is the form of wealth, new jobs, or invention and know-how as with previously established immigration policies). Under our current system of both legal and illegal immigration, we are importing Latin America into the US at break neck speed and we will create a new Latin American country (USA) by the year 2040. This is unacceptable, given the fact that not one Latin American country is a First World country because their cultures thrive on socialisms and their governments generally kleptocracies standing largely against rule-of-law. Meanwhile, America is importing mass poverty, ignorance, and anti-First World cultural populations while supplanting the American Dream and opportunity for its own citizens. Until America can control it's immigration and understand the tragic future it is making for itself, we support zero immigration in all its forms. BackgroundMaintaining Law and Order or Supporting Anarchy? Legally controlled and regulated immigration is the backbone of the United States. We are a country of legal immigrants and nobody can deny this fact. Equally, we are not a country of criminal or illegal aliens or immigrants---those who have no respect for our laws and whose first act on US soil was to break our laws.
Multicultural Dichotomies Sociologist, anthropologist and innumerable studies dictate that cultures can only absorb a limited number of new cultural elements (people from different cultures) before they risk transforming their cultures into that of the injected culture. Translation---if you add three Martians to a population of only ten Plutonians over too short a time span, the Plutonians will begin acting like Martians. Actually, both groups will try to assimilate each other's group into their culture but a new cultural model will either be built or separatism will occure along with rising animosity from both groups until released through acts of aggression. If the numbers are more dramatic, say 8 Martians and only 10 Plutonians , then it is safe to assume that a new cultural model will emerge, taking on both the positive and negative aspects of each culture if an internal war has not wiped out one group. However, history tells us that more than likely the two cultures will struggle with each other for dominance and eventually violence will devolve into revolution or war under the pressure of "culture clash." For each culture will usually entrench and seek to protect themselves from the other culture's onslaughts. Ingrained in any culture is a person's approach, belief, and interaction or action with government and how it should function. In cultures where government is a corrupted processes operated by highly corrupted politicians and administrators and law enforcement, that cultural value system will be projected onto the host country government through the immigration process when done in sufficient numbers. In another words, if you come from Mars where government officials are very corrupt, you are more likely to accept government corruption in your new host country and even promote such corruption (i.e. I bribed the cops on my planet, why not on this planet, too?). Such imposing cultures may even perpetuate the corruption growth in their host culture by adapting to the mainstream culture superficially (e.g. on the surface they appear assimilated while intrinsically they embrace their primary or root culture, which they hide from public view---this has been demonstrated by many conquered American Indians when Whites tried to ban their religions, and in other historic examples). As a new member to the existing mainstream culture and its value system, they will begin to naturally look for ways or exude their root values and culture and outwardly project these aspects in their new professions, thereby affecting slight but negative changes on predominate culture and its value system. If you are from Pluto and the Martians impose themselves on your culture in large enough numbers, at some point Pluto will begin to look and act more like Mars rather than Pluto as the invading culture assumes deeper penetration in society and imposes it root culture through an ever-widening footprint. This can be a good thing and a bad thing. For example, if the Martians are great with finances, then Plutonians may become better with their finances. On the other hand, if the Martians embrace corrupt society and government, then Plutonians will eventually adopt such a value system and digress their society. Generally speaking, the Plutonian does not have the same cultural biases as the Martians simply because the Martians have their own unique history, language, fights, values, and more that make up their society and culture and the same goes in reverse. Neither group is able to fully appreciate the other's position and root culture. The more divergent the cultures are from one another, the more likely they will never assimilate each other---in fact, the more likely they will struggle against each other for dominance until overwhelming tensions can only be relieved by war. Legal immigration throughout the world is largely designed to apply strict controls that regulate against such over-powering and derisive attacks on the mainstream culture of the country, by not exposing it to excesses of foreign culture influences or impacts on society. Countries rightfully use a strict regulation process that ensures that small numbers of immigrants are allowed to enter the system who are properly screened, educated to its history, and the values of its mainstream culture, its language and principles, in order to preserve both order and its own distinct culture or value systems--all toward ensuring full assimilation of the newcomers. Illegal immigration, in contrast, seeks to erode and defile this orderly and proven process and it is actually an act of aggression that must, by its vary nature, end in a polarized struggle between the two opposing cultures. Illegal immigration is actually not a cute anecdote tagline that says, "hey, they want a job" but an act of aggression by an invading culture. This is something that all countries must protect against, for their very sovereignty and general culture and society lay in the balance. PUA PhilosophyThe PUA supports legal immigration at pre-1970 standards in the US (about 100,000 per year) and feels that the US should maintain is current population on a completely flat growth projection (that is, ensure that the population level does not fall or rise significantly). As the world struggles with overpopulation and drains against its environmental resources, overpopulation will become an ever increasing threat to US society and its ability to sustain itself while other countries deplete their natural resources and turn toward America. America should not follow in the footsteps of China, India, Japan, and Africa and other overpopulated countries whose resources, infrastructures, and ability to not only survive in the future, but to thrive under a well maintained quality of life, are being threatened greatly. Contrastingly, the PUA condems illegal immigration as an aggressive, criminal act that plagues society with a host of untold ills, such as over-population and those aspects mentioned above. It exerts terrible pressures on society, including negative impacts to our tax systems, Social Security, national debt, local, state, and national infrastructures (i.e. environmental pollution, water supplies, roadways and congestion, wages, job resources, rule-of-law respect, and more) or is greatly deleterious to our nation. Only through the imposition of the rule-of-law and sound immigration policies can America hope to survive into the 21st Century and beyond. For overpowering forms of mass immigration, particularly when most new illegal immigrants live below the poverty line and must impose themselves on society's social and welfare systems to survive, can only hasten the demise of the US and its sovereignty, not aid it its prosperity. In his book State of Emergency: The Third World Invasion and Conquest of America (Thomas Dunne Books, August 2006), Pat Buchanan states (page 245):
