PUA Position Statement

Note: Currently, Position Statements have been drafted by the PUA Staff as an initial starting point. However, in the future, PUA Position Statements will be created with the direct input of the majority of PUA Card Carrying Members (public voters) and it will reflect the majority opinion. Therefore, your input as a PUA Member can change, often dramatically, the PUA Position Statements in the near and distant future so if you do not see your ideal opinion reflected here, remember, you can work to change it--the PUA is ruled by majority vote.

Secure our borders, ports, and adjacent waterways and shorelines with the goal that our first and best line of defense is in keeping terrorist out of country in the first place. Until we do that, we are hundreds of times more vulnerable to terrorist attacks on US soil.

Internally, it makes no sense to strip-search grandpa and grandma getting on an airplane if just a few miles away al Qaeda is walking or driving across the Southern border carrying weapons of mass destruction undetected---something could be going on at any moment and could remain unknown to the American people and law enforcement, according to recent FBI, DHS, And CIA testimony to Congress. 

The Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) looks to secure the southern border of Mexico rather than the northern border of Mexico with the US where nearly 98% of all human trafficking is taking place. It is yet another policy that makes zero sense on the war on terrorism--if the Mexican border remains open to our enemies, where we still control part of it, how could we possibly think that we could stop our enemies on the southern border of Mexico where we have no control whatsoever---in a country well known for the corruption of all of its officials and law enforcement personnel. The SPP serves only to interfere with our terrorism protections by diverting resources and dialogue off the aspects where it's needed and onto areas where our time and treasure are wasted! )Most Americans are simply unaware that the President and his cronies are giving billions to Mexico to help it secure its southern borders while ignoring US borders.)

To help stop terrorism in the US domestically, we need to focus on a few things besides the security measures mentioned above: 1) re-building a government that reflects the will of the people and the Constitution so people feel more empowered and safe and are more likely to be a friend to government and the American people, 2) remove those foreigners on US soil who are here illegally to reduce all unknown threats and identify all those on US soil to better secure us from potential terrorism threats, 3) ensure that all those who come to US soil in the future are clearly identified and tractable and rounded up when they breach their stays or other visa or immigration laws, 4) create a Foreign Persons Security Act that will assure that all foreigners are not entitled to the same freedoms and privilege of Americans (until they embark on legal citizenship paths) so that US citizens do not have to lose their Rights because law enforcement needs more tools, resources, and capabilities in regards to foreigners in their efforts to root out domestic terrorism (and thereby make it more restrictive for all, instead of the few they are actually after), 5) lastly, we need to make a clear distinction between foreign terrorists on US soil and domestic (US citizen) extremists - they should not be treated the same, for the former is often represented and aided by foreign state sponsorship, which seeks to take down the US government, while the latter is simply individual or isolated groups seeking to make political statements using violence. The distinction is needed in a legal realm whereby the foreigner should not be entitled the same legal rights and protections as US citizens (as we do not advocate the removal of US citizens rights in an effort to overcome foreign terrorists or enemies - for without an intact Constitution for US citizens and their rights, their is no country worthy of fighting for - we disrespect not only our Forefathers, but all US troops and individuals that ever went forth and died in the name of liberty and freedom).

US Soil Planned As New Haven For Terrorist Once US Leaves Iraq

Whether started by accident or diabolical purpose or mistake, the Iraq War has now blossomed into a terrorist haven for Al Qaeda and others.

What is equally certain is that once the US leaves Iraq, provided the country has not yet first been stabilized, the likelihood of trained terrorist from Iraq coming to US soil increases many fold, according to US intelligence gathering and reports to Congress.

We also know that Al Qaeda has plotted since 2004 and perhaps earlier, to utilize the US/Mexico border as their primary point of infiltration to the US, as this is considered our greatest security weakness (according to Al Qaeda terrorists who have been interrogated by  federal authorities who have reported these facts to Congress; refer to Operation Safe America for details).

Once the terrorists in Iraq win their victory (or the US pulls out), they will have little left to do but to focus their efforts on American soil men, women, and children.. Their operational resources will be freed up and attacks on US soil are to be expected in larger and steadier numbers, according to the federal authorities.

With open borders (nearly 6 years post 9/11) and factual reports of terrorists entering the US via the Mexican border, Americans should be demanding more from their leaders!

If America is going to pull out of Iraq prematurely, then it becomes a national security imperative that the both US/Canadian and US/Mexican borders be secured from illegal intrusion by any and all persons prior to a US pull-out. Otherwise, it is a safe bet that thousands of highly trained terrorists will bring the Iraq fight directly to US soil and in all likelihood, use the porous Mexican border to achieve infiltration and death on America and its children.

This is something all Americans need to consider before making up their mind as to whether the US should pull out of Iraq prematurely---yet under all circumstances, Americans should demand that their borders be secured prior the war pull-out to ensure our collective security. 

Law makers must be pressed into action before it's too late!
