| NAU/SPP - FAQ(Revised April 4, 2008) (see also SAA FAQ)
I read the Fact Sheet on the government's SPP website and it all looks fairly legitimate to me so why all the hub-bub? The North American Union looks like a fairytale to me?
On the surface, yes, you are right, the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) looks benign on the government's official fact sheets. Dig deep and you will realize there is a lot more going on than most people recognize.
1) The SPP calls for the free flow of labor among Canada, Mexico, and the US. This is written in the formal working document. Now how do you achieve the free flow of labor into the US from Mexico without harming US jobs? Right now, the mechanism used by the federal government to achieve this goal is not the SPP, but rather illegal immigration. By crafting such a goal into law (the end game of the SPP), illegal immigration is ended in favor of legal right to work for all Mexicans who want to come to the US and Canada and compete with US workers. There is no limit or job class restriction under the current plan: white collar jobs that pay substantially less in Mexico will be immediately threatened in the US and Canada, just like blue collar jobs are now with illegal immigration.
Currently, about 20% of the entire population of Mexico is in the US. Once the SPP is formalized, as much as 80% of the population will come to the US seeking higher paid jobs. As the market fills with cheap labor, current US job wages will dramatically devalue--US workers will begin earning about 50% of the current wage rates perhaps to adjust for the mass influx of labor.
2) The SPP is only a very small part of the entire process of creating the North American Union. Other branches of government, other aspects of planning, other elements of progress are all converging toward one ultimate goal, which is the preparation and creation of the North American Union. This is achieved by having high level officials, who can access many levels of government and the private sector across the spectrum, plan the process and simply allocate certain sections of the plan to certain groups, agencies, and lower level leaders (marching them all, unwittingly, toward a single end game). How do we know this? Simple, it was done before very successfully in Europe and now the EU, which the governments of those countries claimed was merely for trade and commerce, has turned out to be sovereignty dismantling and the public are now unable to put the Genie back in the bottle---they are warning us not to make their mistakes!
3) The reality is that laws and regulations are being match-up to better mesh with Canada and Mexico, which is a mirror process that was started in the early stages of forming the EU.
Why is the PUA so against the SPP?
4) The SPP makes a critical security error. First and foremost, it accepts the Third World kleptocracy of Mexico as an equal to the United States and Canada. Mexico, as a nation of laws and security, is a nightmare to itself and its people. Drug and human trafficking mafias control the vast majority of Mexico and its governments, particularly its police departments (at all levels) through a variety of tools, including graft, extortion, threat of violence, kidnapping, and murder. It is routine throughout Mexico to simply bribe any Mexican official in order to breach the laws (the amount of the bribe is usually the only determining factor for success). Given this reality, and many other aspects such as Mexico's complete inability to safeguard its own borders or stop the drug cartels from operating with impunity, it is clear the US leadership is following a fool's path if it believes it can increase the security of the United States and its people by co-mingling such responsibilities with those of Mexico--it's just absurd--the same thing asking Osama Bin Laden to guard US airports--it makes no sense.
What does makes sense is that if there is indeed another hidden agenda and purpose. We believe the SPP is clearly either incompetent in all its aspects of commerce or security or that it maintains a ulterior motive and outcome. In both cases, the SPP should be discarded and omitted (at the very least, Mexico should be dropped from any further participation until about 75 years into the future when Mexico might emerge as a more safe and secure country equal to the footing of the US and Canada).
How does the PUA arrive at the NAU theory? What is the evidence in support of it?
First, we take a bird's eye view of the situation and look at the big picture of both American and international politics and developments. While it is necessary to examine each individual component of our government and its progress, the true insight only comes when the larger picture is taken into perspective.
For example, we might look at the SPP and see one leg of development that seem curious. Then we might say examine border security---given the fact terrorism is suppose to be a high concern for the US, why are the border open and illegal aliens for tens of terrorists countries allowed to freely pass out borders undetected---another piece of the puzzle we must examine. Then there is aspect of Constitutional infringements becoming routine in both Congress and the White House with an over emphasis of targeting the US population, as if preparing for mass rioting and making laws to ensure strong-arm government prevails. Laws that include the removal of free speech becoming important when tossed into the mix. Then there is the element of the Congress continually pressing for an amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens that seems puzzling and needs to be considered. Next, we look at developments in trends toward new lawmaking and how the trends mimic the trends of past governments and models (such as the EU formation), and see if similar patterns emerge of any relevance. We look at economic factors that weaken the middleclass, which are the backbone of a strong democracy--for without them, democracy fails for lack of an educated public able to protect it. Next we examine items like free trade and why it is now favored over fair trade, which made our country an economic powerhouse---why our leaders have shifted alliances and are now deliberately weakening the US economy form the standpoint of infrastructure and middleclass workers/consumers. We also look at government interference from well backed lobbyist and especially organized memberships that can remove our government's checks and balance systems (if you make key members of all branches of government members of one organization or members to a sister organization that tends to hold sway over those members and their pursuits, then all checks and balances are removed from government).
By collecting data and information from a variety of sources to build confirmation, we are able to round out the picture to point us all in the best general right direction to point our research and questioning. It is the duty of citizens and watch dog organizations to remain vigilant to the corruption of government and its leaders and when we fail this, we fail our nation and our fellow Americans.
Currently, the PUA clearly sees that the North American Union is progressing quickly by force of a variety of agencies, governments, private sector, and more and that regardless of what the government is saying it is doing with its right hand, the left hand is making the moves behind the scenes to ensure progress on the NAU. The SPP is not the end all to creating the NAU, but it is a critical part of the much larger puzzle being formed against America and the American people.
No good can come from allowing mega wealthy corporations and business leaders mostly transnational companies with no allegiance to the US or any country or their citizens) to manipulate government for its own gains, while government abandons the needs of the American people---yet this is precisely what is being done by Congress and the White House.
By suggesting that we have common perimeter with that of Mexico and Canada, and the open flow of trade and labor, the SPP clearly outlines nothing less than a new sovereignty we might call North America, if not legally, than at least conceptually--and such a development is concept is unconstitutional at best, and if plotted with the end goal of creating an NAU, a treason at worst.
We know that the same groups promoting and working with the SPP are many of the same groups supporting efforts to create a three-sovereignty currency (outside of the SPP) known as the "Amero," so if this is not concerted effort to dismantle the US sovereignty in step fashion--all disguised to look like something commercial and security friendly--then we do not know what could qualify as such.
What we know for certain is that in all cases, the US must end its less than arm's length dealings with Mexico and start focusing on its own affairs and its own security and prosperity which it already has a tough enough time controlling as is--let alone trying to take on the problems and issues of other neighboring countries.
