Congress Asked To Declare Against Anti-Americanism

by PUA Staff

With so many things not getting done and going wrong in our country, sometimes we need to get back to basics. One of the ways to do this is to affirm or reaffirm ones ideals and what one stands for in a leadership position or office within the government. After-all, why do we elect our leaders?

This is an official declaration that was sent to Congress so that every member could reaffirm their standing and status and let us know who they are and what they stand for. If you enter a Congresspersons Web site or office and you do not see this signed declaration in a framed wall plaque, it's because you're in the office of someone who either bases their identity with: 1) special interests and/or big business, 2) foreign nations, or 3) foreign born persons or people or cultures who do not understand our value systems or history as a nation, or worse, do and do not care.

In world affairs and politics, once must often chose between one's own country and people or that of another country and its people. Nation's are built around people and their ideals, hopefully, and the closer the elected government leadership thinks to the populace, the closer the country reflects its ideals to the world. No country can sustain itself very long by placing the ideals and needs of foreigners and foreign nations above their own. This little but clear reality has been lost on many Americans and many in our body politic.

Equally, if one wishes for a strong country with a high standard of living, sacrifices have to be made. In this case, the country must begin to focus on the needs of its middleclass workers, the country's backbone. Today's America sees its backbone slipping into obscurity and if the trend is not reversed through sound leadership and ideals, then America will be lost in all fashions: whether from security, economically, or otherwise.

Download the Declaration of a True American Leader here (PDF). Then fax or e-mail it to your favorite US leader and ask them to sign it and mount it on their office wall and place it on their Web site. If they refuse, you will know who you are dealing with and how to handle them on the very next election.

For your convenience, here is the the HTML version

Declaration of a True American Leader

Written by Xelan Bonn

  1. I want to be a good American and respect and support the traditions of my country.
  2. I want to set an example for future generations and help others who set a good example.
  3. I want to obey the law and be respected and have the law obeyed and respected.
  4. I do not seek to find any number of ways to go around the American people after they have told me “No” on a certain issue or aspect that they feel strongly about—I have integrity and I will submit to their will even if I disagree with it (and not just because Thomas Jefferson intended this function in our republic but because I believe in representative government, not aristocratic forms of elitist fascism).
  5. I am not incompetent but instead I am well read on the issue or proposal and if not, I vote “no” until I am well educated in all aspects and impacts of the issue and proposal—I insist on reading every bill proposal cover to cover before I debate or vote on it and if I don’t have time to read it, then I refuse to debate it or vote on it—my goal is to make less laws, but the laws I do make will be much better laws as a result of my competency level—I will even insist that all new laws be short and sweet and more accessible.
  6. I believe a great way to help keep America secure from terrorist is by keeping terrorists off US soil in the first place as well as by eliminating the black markets that help them remain here illegally—that the government has the right to know who is on US soil at all times and to remove those who are not in order to protect all Americans—that I should I fail to do my best as a bi-partisan team player, then I will step down from my post.
  7. I believe taxpayer funds should be invested in the nation’s future, not blown on pork and cake projects that serve the few instead of the many—the public as a whole comes first—and that being responsible with debt includes working toward not only zero deficits but towards a zero national debt so that taxes can be reduced for all citizens.
  8. I believe that a strong middleclass is what made this country great and I will do my best to ensure all decisions help make a stronger and more vibrant middleclass in the future.
  9. I believe that America and Americans must come first before foreign nations or people and once our house is in order, I shall extend my hand to those across the seas, showing my country as a prime example of what can be a worthy goal—for how can I preach the benefits of a strong, secure, and fair democracy or removing poverty or ensuring healthcare for all abroad until I first address those issues in my own country.
  10. I believe in international trade that always works to the benefit of the US middleclass and does not rely on foreign slave or child labor or environmental destruction because I know that big business is only kept honest by an ethical government that understands that trade commerce is always a secondary priority to those of domestic needs and the security and prosperity of US workers—by taking care of the middleclass, I take care of all America.
  11. I believe in avoiding foreign policies dictated by elite and secret organizations that are often founded and controlled by billionaires, many of which hold no allegiance to America and yet routinely misguide US leaders for their own benefits through the guise of legitimate, impartial policy advisories—most of which promote free trade, which destroys the middleclass and weakens the country’s national security needlessly.
  12. I believe in ensuring that any regulation made in the US to protect and safeguard American consumers or the environment must be adopted, policed, and ensure that all certification assurances are paid for by any importing company or producing country that seeks to take their production off-shore and still wants access to the US consumer markets—and if such standards cannot be maintained, then access to our markets shall be denied—that the default priority standard shall be safety for consumers in all its forms—that the domestic market shall find equilibrium without reliance on foreign goods or services.
  13. I believe that the government should promote and aid in all ways possible, American manufacturing and American product and service exportation as a high priority—to give companies small and large and even start-ups the help they need to succeed.
  14. I believe in balanced population growth with balanced middleclass sustainability along with balanced environmental protections—that I know they are intertwined and that our national security in terms of environment and water are currently being overstressed.
  15. I believe that companies who maintain their operations in the US and a 99% US citizen workforce should be given many more government tax incentives and other forms of assistance than those companies that do not—that foreign country or transnational corporation needs shall always have tertiary priority and consideration, always first placing American workers and American soil & worker businesses first—that this is not an isolationist or protectionist policy but rather one of ensuring America’s higher standard of living as a First World nation and superpower that must first maintain itself before generously opening its hand to others—such is our awesome world responsibility to maintain a safe, secure and model country and beacon in the world for world security.
  16. I believe that the government cannot allow its citizens to pick and chose which laws it may or may not enforce and that government itself must lead by example and when government does not, that law makers have a duty and responsibility to step in and take-over all government operations to ensure compliance with the law.
  17. I believe that it is government’s duty to ensure the country’s well being and national security in all it forms, whether financially, environmentally, or from invasion of its borders, or from terrorism, or from processes that corrupt the systems of democratic rule or new information exposure as a general rule that I live and work by.
  18. I believe that the US government should increase its aid and assistance to foster small business in the US and encourage the hiring of US citizens while opposing the hiring of foreigners—that government should help companies to help US students turn employees and to become highly trained and valuable assets to the American workforce through a variety incentive programs that focus on keeping America’s workforce knowledgeable, skilled, strong, reliable and competitive to that of the world—that one day, the greatest and most prized label shall be MADE IN AMERICA.
  19. I believe in the US Constitution, pre-amble, and the Declaration of Independence and its underlying principles, the restoring personal liberty, happiness, and prosperity to the American people, and protecting the US sovereignty at all costs—I will not sell out to foreign or anti-American interests but rather I will listen and obey the will of the people—and I shall not undermine my country and its ideals by allowing first generation immigrants access to political office or the vote—but only to those people who were born on US soil to US citizen parents who have a profound allegiance to this country alone and no such conflicting allegiance to those of their homeland nation or cultures.
  20. I refuse to listen to or agree with those among my peers who are corruptive or beguiling in nature and who seek to perpetuate the will of special interests above the needs of the common good and people and my country as a whole—that the common good shall always be foremost in my actions and deeds.
