The film that immortalizes
the heroic passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 on September
11, 2001 is a must see for all US citizens for a variety of
reasons:
1) It shows the genuine
heroic efforts of US citizens and others who understood that
action, not talk, was the required remedy--they were successful
in saving countless lives and for that we are eternally grateful
as a nation!
2) It shows how, even
today, totally unprepared the US is for attacks domestically by
terrorist---how, 5 years post 9-11, we have failed to learn the
lessons of preparedness:
3) It shows how ingenious,
creative, resourceful, and determined the terrorist enemy can be
and is today, and will be in the future.
4) It foretells, through
our on-going complacency, just how vulnerable America is and
offers us insight into a catastrophic American future brought
about because our politicians and leaders have been incompetent
in protecting us and "taking to action," and because
our citizenry has not pressed them into action.
5) It is a wake-up call
for all Americans that want safe and secure futures for
themselves and their families---a catalyst for change and a call
to action.
The PAU
salutes the heroes of Flight 93 and we stand by their great
American symbolism and leadership that shows us all what can be
done under the greatest of pressures and tragic circumstances---of
how otherwise ordinary people can rise to meet the challenges
that may hold life in the balance---for they represent what is
in all of us, should we decide to act!
