Patriot Society Gives Birth To Patriot Union of America

Federal policy advisor and think tank Patriot Society christened the newest member of American democracy when it officially began operations for the newly formed Patriot Union of America (PUA) today, say organizers.  

A one hour celebration symbolically kick-started the PUA as well as commemorated America's birth date---both seen as symbolic and symbiotic firsts for enthusiastic organizers and activists.

Patriot Union of America (PUA) will become the latest addition to a field of citizen’s advocacies. However, it is unlike any advocacy organization to date in that is designed to eventually become a quasi-public organization for use by Americans to directly participate in federal law making, among other political and democratic firsts, claim organizers.

Once all planned systems are fully operational, the PUA is expected to become not only an invaluable tool for voters and taxpayers, but a global benchmark system for advancing democracy and democratic principles, said PUA Founder Xelan Bonn.

"Encrypted Internet and the fact that most homes in the US are now connected to online realms offers us a new era in democracy, public participation and empowerment, and now even federal law making," said IT Manger Mark Adams. "If Americans ever wanted to better control their future and their kids future, they will never find a better tool," he said.

The PUA will seek to build the nation’s largest nonpartisan union of US citizen voters through an national network of affiliates.

"The PUA will be America's baby and workhorse in the coming years and was born with one purpose in mind---to empower Americans and bring them closer to their democracy while building national pride and patriotism," said Founder Xelan Bonn. "What this organization plans to do and to offer Americans in the near and long-term future astounds even me and I'm usually not surprised by anything," said Bonn. "This is the best thing I have ever been involved with and I feel very humble, honored, and fortunate to be a part of this historical undertaking."

The PUA is expecting to have its first Web site launched by the end of the year with several future iterations coming thereafter until the full system has been built out, say organizers. A full national roll-out to bring PUA supporters together and raise funds for the system is scheduled to begin in the 2007 Spring and extend into the 2008 national elections.

“We’d like to see 10 million Americans on the PUA roles by election time,” said Bonn.

Major promotional plans have not been offered but organizers expect to begin pushing an online Affiliate and PR campaign during the initial phases of the roll-out.
